What About That Day?
The days that challenge us are the days that define us
We all have days when we feel invincible. The alarm clock goes off and we spring into action— like nothing can go wrong. On those days, we’re highly motivated, carrying a spirit that can’t be diminished. Those are the good days.
The Days That Count
But what about the other days—the ones where we don’t want to leave the comfort of the bed? The ones where the inner voice convinces us that we don’t have to. The days where the mountain feels insurmountable. Those are the days that count. Those are the days that shape you. That’s the time when you measure up.
Two Paths, One Choice
So what do you do on those days? Well, that depends on who you are. Most will listen to that inner voice and lay back down in bed. And they will never know what could have been—and they’re okay with that. But then there are the few who realize the goal they’re chasing is still there. The ones who know they’ll have to fight their way through many storms to get to the light. They realize it’s what you do when you don’t want to that makes the difference.
The Difference Makers
The part people don’t realize is this: the ones who fight through the storms are the ones who end up chasing down their goals. They’re the ones who change the world. And the day they got up was the day that made the difference. I said before that the people who stay in bed never know what could have been. Well, the truth is what could have been is their greatness—their separation from the rest of the pack. Because that’s what happened for the others. So when that alarm clock goes off, or that deadline comes, do not lay down and submit. Get up and make movement—because that movement is toward YOUR GREATNESS, no one else’s. This is what will separate you from the pack, bring you one step closer to your dreams, and it will make you…
